India Mobile Congress 2024 to focus on AI and Gen AI
India Mobile Congress (IMC), Asia's premier digital technology exhibition, is set to happen between the 15th and 18th of October at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. The big event, co-hosted by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), revolves around the theme 'The Future is Now.' The IMC 2024 will focus heavily on AI and Gen AI-based discussions. Over 50 global and Indian speakers are expected to discuss multiple aspects of AI and Gen AI in over 11 diverse discussion panels during the four days of the event. Further, there's also a special day-long session on 'AI for Good,' which is co-hosted by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), where experts and delegates from around the world will deliberate on the subject. IMC 2024 will also host a startup program called Aspire, featuring over 140 startups focused on AI-based applications across various industries. The event will also have participation from over 15 ministries to showcase how AI is being integrated into their departments.
