KiranaPro Partners ZuperAI To Offer AI-Powered Retail Market Solutions
With this move, the quick commerce startup aims to bridge the gap between users and retailers while creating personalised shopping experience. Days after roping in PV Sindhu as an investor, quick commerce platform KiranaPro has partnered with B2B management platform ZuperAI to offer AI-based retail market solutions to its users. Under this partnership, KiranaPro will integrate ZuperAI's "Matchmaking AI" service to assist customers and retailers with product discovery, inventory optimisation and supply chain efficiency. The integration will assist users to find products easily while helping retailers to scale their business. With this move, the quick commerce startup aims to bridge the gap between users and retailers while creating personalised shopping experience. "This collaboration is a game-changer for AI-driven commerce, unlocking new levels of precision, personalisation, and operational efficiency," said KiranaPro founder and chief executive officer Deepak Ravindran. The quick commerce startup recently joined ONDC and became India's first platform on the network that can tap into a network of over 7 Lakh registered vendors across the country. The ONDC-powered platform will initially launch operations in Hyderabad and Thiruvananthapuram, followed by deeper expansion into Kerala. Founded by Ravindran and Dipankar Sarkar in 2024, KiranaPro aims at uplifting traditional kirana (retail) stores by offering an AI-driven interface which helps them in managing their digital operations along with flexible revenue models. Unlike other quick commerce platforms which use dark stores, KiranaPro connects neighbourhood mom-and-pop stores directly with customers. The startup is operational across India due to its integration with ONDC. Earlier this month, it also acquired hyperlocal grocery delivery service Joper.app to boost its footprint in the hyperlocal retail space. The development comes at a time when India's quick commerce space is witnessing soaring competition. Major players like Zomato, Swiggy and Zepto are aggressively expanding their quick commerce services for delivering home essentials to food in as less as 10 minutes. In recent times, these players have launched multiple quick commerce services, including Zepto Cafe, Bistro by Zomato, SNACC by Swiggy and much more. Last month, Zomato's Blinkit also rolled out a 10-minute ambulance service. Notably, the three giants together reported over $1 Bn in revenue in FY24 while a report estimates that the quick commerce industry in India has seen a sales spike of 280% in the last two years.
