Nothing just launched a $99 AI-powered smartwatch -- and it's already on sale for even less
Fresh off the release of the Nothing Phone (3) and Nothing Headphones (1), UK-based tech startup Nothing just launched a new smartwatch -- and it's already a strong contender for best budget smartwatch and fitness tracker of the year. Say hello to the Nothing CMF Watch 3 Pro -- a sleek and affordable smartwatch "designed for everyday users and casual fitness explorers." The CMF Watch 3 Pro is already on sale at Nothing and Amazon as of July 22. Interestingly, Nothing lists the retail price at $99 and offers a $20 discount, while Amazon only lists the $79 price. However, per a Nothing press release, $99 is the true retail price, and it sells overseas for £99 and €99, respectively. Shoppers can grab the new smartwatch in orange, light gray, or dark gray. Nothing is known for its distinctive-looking products that deliver flagship-like experiences for less, but the Watch 3 Pro's design isn't too far off the wall. It's sleek and relatively subtle, with slim bezels, a round watch face, and a soft silicone band. It does offer over 120 custom watch faces, including video, photo, and AI-generated options through Watch Face Studio, so you can personalize it to match your style. Feature-wise, the Watch 3 Pro has enough features to double as a fitness tracker. Andrew Freshwater, Head of Smart Products Marketing at Nothing, says it's designed to be the "perfect starting point for anyone beginning their health and fitness journey." The Nothing CMF Watch 3 Pro also gets a boost from AI. In addition to the AI-generated watch faces, this smartwatch has direct ChatGPT integration. Using natural voice prompts, wearers can ask the AI chatbot questions or set reminders, for starters. It even acts as a voice recorder, which will auto-transcribe conversations or notes. For athletes, it packs a dual-band five-system GPS setup, which makes for precise location tracking on hikes, rides, and runs, as well as a four-channel heart rate sensor, which makes for accurate readings while you work out. Other features include: While we haven't had a chance to test this new smartwatch yet, it looks like it offers a lot of value at $99. And on sale for $79, it sounds like a steal.

The new Nothing smartwatch does something even the Apple Watch Ultra can't do
AI-enabled wearables might be becoming more mainstream, for better or worse. Credit: Nothing Available for purchase now, the CMF Watch 3 Pro brings a lot of fitness tracker features to the table, including a dual-band five-system GPS setup for more precise tracking, a four-channel heart rate sensor for more accurate readings, blood oxygen monitoring, stress tracking, 130 activity modes, and more. But, perhaps the biggest feature of the smartwatch is its AI integration, specifically when it comes to ChatGPT. The device has fully integrated ChatGPT into its design, allowing you to ask the chatbot questions, set reminders, record voice notes, and other tasks by way of simple voice prompts. The voice recorder can also auto-transcribe conversations or notes. On its face, this may not seem like big news, but it's actually worth noting -- other big-name smartwatches like the Apple Watch can also access ChatGPT, but only via third-party apps that support ChatGPT or by asking Siri. The CMF Watch 3 Pro cuts out the middle man, allowing direct access to the chatbot through the smartwatch, which is a unique feature to Nothing's products. The wearable even lets you use AI-generated watch faces to customize its look. This isn't the first Nothing product to tout ChatGPT support in this way -- the Nothing Ear (a) buds also have this feature, and it'll be coming to the brand's other headphone products as well (if they don't have it already). Whether this is a positive and genuinely helpful feature remains to be seen, but what we can say is that every AI wearable we've seen up to this point -- like the Rabbit R1 and Humane AI Pin -- has been an utter failure. Will Nothing's CMF Watch 3 Pro join that list? Maybe, but one thing is certain: AI wearables are becoming more mainstream, for better or worse.

The Nothing CMF Watch 3 Pro is back in stock -- get it for its lowest-ever price now
Immediately after Nothing launched the CMF Watch 3 Pro, it was being hailed as a strong contender for the best budget smartwatch and fitness tracker of the year. And shoppers seemed to agree. The prospect of an AI-powered smartwatch for under $100 was obviously too much to ignore, because these smartwatches sold fast and stock vanished just like that. The CMF Watch 3 Pro has only been out of stock at Amazon for a few days, but those days will have been incredibly painful for anyone looking to invest. We've been keeping a keen eye on stock, and we're delighted to see the CMF Watch 3 Pro make a triumphant return in ash grey, dark grey, and orange. Everyone has their own taste, but that orange model sure does look good. And we're equally pleased to see that the sale price remains intact. Nothing lists the retail price at $99 and offers a $20 discount, and Amazon has matched that record-low price in all colorways. The last thing we want you to do is panic and make a purchase without properly considering your options, but if you've already decided to buy this impressive watch, we recommend acting fast to avoid another out-of-stock situation. The CMF Watch 3 Pro offers enough features to double as a fitness tracker. Andrew Freshwater, Head of Smart Products Marketing at Nothing, says it's designed to be the "perfect starting point for anyone beginning their health and fitness journey." This smartwatch also has direct ChatGPT integration. Using natural voice prompts, wearers can ask the AI chatbot questions, set reminders, record voice notes, and perform other tasks with simple voice prompts. It can even act as a voice recorder, automatically transcribing conversations or notes. We still need to give the CMF Watch 3 Pro the full review treatment, but it looks like it offers a lot of value at list price. And for just $79, it sounds like an absolute steal.
