Deals: Apple Watch Ultra 2, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, more9to5Mac
Apple Watch Ultra 2 returns to Prime Day price at $99 off - Ocean Band, Alpine Loop, and Trail models We quickly saw the Apple Watch Ultra 2 drop down to $699.99 shipped for Amazon Prime Day, and now that deal is back once again. Regularly $799, you will now find various band options marked down by $99 to bring back this year's Prime offer. This includes the Ocean Band model, Alpine Loop options, and Trail Loop configurations. While we have seen a few fleeting deals on select colorways and bands go for less in the past, but it is not often with this sort of selection all sitting at the $700 shipped discounted price tag. One of our top 10 deals for Prime Day 2024 went to the Apple M3 MacBook Air at $150 off, and now several configurations are back starting from $850! Alongside some 15-incher models we will detail down below, one of the most sought-after configurations in the lineup is the 13-inch variant with 16GB of RAM and the 512GB internal SSD - this model is now marked down to $1,249.98 shipped in all four colors courtesy of Amazon. Regularly $1,499, this is $149 off and within $1 off the all-time low Prime Day price. This deal also joins the 8GB variant that is also within $1 of the Amazon all-time low at $849.98 shipped - this is $149 off and just $50 above the sale price we are tracking on the previous-generation M2 model. The 16GB variant is easily one of the best options in the lineup for most folks, one might even argue this is the best current-generation Apple laptop available for folks that don't need the pro-grade machines - but the 8GB is just as nice at a price like this unless you're hungry for the extra RAM. The $149 price drops also carry over to the 15-inch models today as well. The entry-level configuration with 8GB of RAM and a 256GB internal SSD is now selling for $1,049.98 shipped, down from the regular $1,299. This offer joins the elevated 16GB model at $1,449.98 shipped to deliver the same $149 in savings. Amazon is not playing around today with the Apple deals folks. We are now tracking some of the best prices ever on AirPods Max, the new M3 MacBook Air, and Apple Watch Ultra 2, but now it's time for a massive price drop on the M3 Pro MacBook Pro models. While the M3 entry-level configs and the 14-inch M3 Pros are remaining in that $300 off range, Amazon is getting very aggressive with the 16-inch M3 Pro today. You can now land the 16-inch M3 Pro MacBook Pro with the 512GB SSD and 18GB of RAM is at $1,899.98 shipped as well as the 36GB of RAM variant at $2,299.98 shipped. Both deals are live on the stealthy and sought-after Space Black models to deliver the best prices we have ever tracked. Regularly $2,499 and $2,899, you're looking at straight up $599 cash discounts here. It has already been a busy day in Apple deals at Amazon - the retailer is bringing back much of the Prime Day prices today folks! Next up is AirPods Max. Apple's flagship over-ear headphones quickly fell to the $395 all-time low last month during the Prime Day festivities, and today's deal is basically just as good. Regularly $549, you can land a set in any one of the five color options down at $399.99 shipped. That's $149 off and the lowest price we can find. We did see the pink set only fall to $383 in a limited-time Lightning sale a few days after Prime Day, but this is otherwise within $5 of the best we have tracked there. Today we are hooking 9to5 readers up with an exclusive extended offer for Setapp - a collection of 250 apps for your Mac ranging from Ulysses and CleanMyMac X, to the Unclutter organization suite, Be Focused to-do lists, a series of AI assistants, and a whole lot more. Deals: Galaxy Z Flip/Fold 6 with $300 gift card, Acer Chromebook Plus $100 off, Galaxy S24 Ultra $350 off, GoPro, and more
Update: While much of the direct from Samsung pre-order offers have dwindled, Amazon has remained aggressive with its gift card offers, delivering up to $300 in credit with purchases on the new unlocked foldables from Samsung: More details right here. While we did see a short-lived offer on Prime Day for a touch less, Amazon is now offering the 2024 Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite at $209.99 shipped. This is a regular $330 Samsung tablet that is now within $10 of the all-time low to deliver a ton of value for folks looking for a casual Android tablet experience without breaking the bank. Today's deal also puts the new S6 Lite down at nearly the same price as you'll pay for the Galaxy Tab A9+ (although you can get this more entry-level variant for less at Amazon from time-to-time), and that one does not include the S Pen stylus action. As a part of its Back to School deals, Best Buy is now offering Acer's Chromebook Plus 515 for $299 shipped. This is regularly a $400 Chromebook that happens to be fetching its full price on Acer's online store right now. Today's 25% discount drops it to one of the lowest prices we can find for this student Chromebook with Google's latest Gemini suite of AI tools. Head below for a detailed look at the specifications and features. There's no telling how long this deal is going to last folks, but Amazon has now dropped the latest Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra in Titanium Grey down to $949 shipped. This is the regularly $1,300 256GB model seeing a sizable $350 price drop to deliver the lowest price we can find. While the purple model has jumped back up to full price and the Titanium Black is now back down to the Prime Day price at $975, the gray edition is sitting at a new Amazon all-time low, undercutting the Prime Day offer by $20. It looks as though it could jump back up to full price at any time though. All colorways are sitting at the full $1,300 via the official Samsung site. Following this morning's price drops on the new Galaxy Z Flip and Fold 6 Samsung cases, Best Buy is also now offering the latest Galaxy SmartTag 2 item trackers down at $19.99. You'll still find the white model down at the $19.99 Prime Day price via Amazon as well, but the black variant has jumped up at over $25. Regularly $30, this is matching the lowest price of the year at 33% off the going rate to deliver the lowest price we can find and another great opportunity for Galaxy users to scoop a few up. We saw a solid price drop on the latest Google Pixel 8a for Prime Day, as well as up to $300 on the flagship pro model...and the deals are back once again (or even lower). Google is launching the new Pixel 9 very soon, but you aren't going to be getting one of those at $300 off any time soon. Amazon now has Pixel 8 Pro back down at the $699 shipped Prime Day price. Regularly $999, this is a $300 cash discount, $50 under our previous mention, and matching Amazon all-time low we spotted for Prime Day. Head below for the return of Prime Day pricing on Pixel 8 as well as a new all-time low on Pixel 8a. Just for comparison's sake, the upcoming Pixel 3 will come in two flavors, a 41mm model like the featured deals above and a larger 45mm. The smaller size is expected to carry a $349 MSRP while the larger of two will jump to $399. The LTE versions of both are expected to land at $449 and $499. In a surprising move, Apple has announced significant price cuts on some of its most popular devices. The Apple Watch Ultra, known for its rugged design and advanced features, is now available at a $60 discount, bringing its price down to $739 1. This represents the second-best price to date for the high-end smartwatch, making it an attractive option for fitness enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers.

The M1 MacBook Air, which continues to be a popular choice for its balance of performance and portability, is now priced at just $749. This marks a $250 discount from its original price, offering excellent value for students and professionals alike 1.
Not to be outdone, Samsung has responded with its own set of enticing offers. The tech giant is currently running a promotion on its latest foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6 2. While specific discount amounts were not disclosed, industry insiders suggest these deals could make Samsung's innovative foldable technology more accessible to a broader range of consumers.
In addition to the smartphone deals, Samsung is also offering discounts on its Chromebook Plus lineup. These lightweight, cloud-centric laptops have gained popularity for their affordability and ease of use, particularly in educational settings 2.
These simultaneous deals from two of the biggest players in the tech industry could signal a shift in the market. As competition intensifies, consumers stand to benefit from more aggressive pricing strategies.
