Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) hosted the TEDxUniversiti Brunei Darussalam themed 'Futuring Together' yesterday. The speakers addressed topics including the inability of artificial intelligence (AI) to fully replace human language learning, sustainable innovation propelled by technology-driven partnerships, the significance of intellectual honesty on the return on investment of companies, the role of the circular economy in business networks, the improvement of inclusion and accessibility for children with special needs and mental health issues, and the importance of digital literacy in promoting a sustainable future. The event concluded with a giveaway where an attendee received a complimentary night for two at a hotel. UBD Vice-Chancellor Dr Hazri bin Haji Kifle was the guest of honour.
