Titan, which provides a suite of professional email services to small and medium businesses, currently has 2.3 million registered mailboxes.

The collaboration will see Titan's AI-enabled email platform being offered to millions of small businesses and entrepreneurs as part of GoDaddy's hosting and domain packages. The service is being rolled out today.Business email provider Titan has partnered with web hosting and domain company GoDaddy to enhance GoDaddy's professional email service for customers in developing markets, including India. The integration will see Titan's artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled email platform offered to millions of small businesses and entrepreneurs as part of GoDaddy's hosting and domain packages. The service, which will begin rolling out today, is designed to give small businesses access to tools typically used by larger enterprises. These tools include AI-powered email composition and response features, professional email design tools with branded templates, automated appointment scheduling, campaign management capabilities, and security features, among others. "We empower small businesses with a much more modern, AI-powered email communication platform that goes beyond just email. Conventional email is just sending and receiving communication. But Titan specifically helps small businesses grow," said founder Bhavin Turakhia. "As a part of this deal, we'll be adding about two million mailboxes to Titan in the coming quarters. Then, every year, we expect another million mailboxes to be added just through this one partnership," he added. Turakhia is also the cofounder and chief technology officer of banking technology startup Zeta. Titan distributes its email service exclusively through reseller partnerships rather than selling directly to small businesses. The company works with domain registrars, hosting providers, and web service firms such as Newfold Digital, WordPress.com, GMO, and CentralNic, integrating its product into their offerings. When customers purchase a domain or website from these partners, they are offered Titan's professional email as an add-on during the checkout process. In 2021, Titan raised $30 million from Automattic, the parent company of WordPress, at a valuation of $300 million. The investment gave WordPress a 10% stake in the company, with the remaining 90% held by Turakhia and other members of the leadership team and employees. According to Turakhia, Titan currently powers about 2.3 million mailboxes linked to roughly 1.5 million domain names. This includes small businesses, stores, and micro-establishments worldwide. Oliver Hoare, vice president of strategic partnerships at GoDaddy, said many small businesses today need more than just a basic email account. "They need intelligent tools that make it easy to connect with customers and stimulate growth. This partnership with Titan enables GoDaddy to offer small businesses in developing markets advanced email that helps drive their success." The move comes as both companies seek to tap into the growing demand for digital services in developing markets, where internet penetration is rising and small businesses are increasingly going online to reach customers.
