Here's your first look at Gemini's dedicated space for all creations (APK teardown)
ChatGPT has a similar feature, called Library, which makes it easier to find media created by it rather than sifting through chat history. Image generation has long been one of the most compelling and entertaining use cases for AI. The widespread Studio Ghibli trend from earlier this year saw the internet painted with images recreated using ChatGPT in the style of Japanese artist Hayao Miyazaki. Lately, Google has been stirring up a similar storm of novel and somewhat wild creations with Nano Banana. However, searching through hundreds or even thousands of creations from individual Gemini chats can be tedious, which is why Google is now testing a dedicated space for all these creations -- just like ChatGPT's library. And we now know how it could work.

Google catches up to rivals with new Gemini feature
While AI chabots were first introduced to us as voices that answered simple queries and executed quick commands, creating images, written text, and even code through generative AI has become normal for many people. And while the efficacy of AI's abilities in these arenas is disputed, there's no doubt that many are using their AI chatbots as a creative hub, quickly roughing up ideas, memes, and videos. That's true for Google's Gemini AI, so it's been a little baffling that Google doesn't include a library feature to collect all of your creations. Thankfully, it will soon, as Android Authority has noticed a new feature in one of its APK teardowns. A place for everything And everything in its place This new feature, titled "Created by you", was spotted by Android Authority after some digging around in a new beta version of the Gemini app. Found beneath the "New chat" button, this area seems to collect everything you've asked Gemini to create. This includes image generations, but it also includes code snippets you've asked for, information requests, even shopping lists. Close It's an all-in-one solution, and there's clearly some work still to be done to separate out the different categories of generations into their own sections. But even with this in mind, this addition will likely be welcomed by anyone who previously had to dig back through chats to find some lost generated content. Tapping on any of the entries in "Created by you" will take you to the specific chat where the content was generated, so you'll be able to view it in the context of its creation. It's about time Google got around to implementing this, as rivals like ChatGPT have had a Library for a very long time. Getting a library feature up and running would be a big step for Google in catching up to the other chatbots in this area, and it would be a big boost for frequent Gemini users -- including those new Pixel 10 owners who have a year of free Gemini Pro access. Unfortunately for fans, getting this to work required a bit of "tweaking" in Android Authority's words, so it's not available to everyone just yet, and there's no word on when it will release. However, it being on the horizon is good news, and something to look forward to.
