The newly launched data centre boasts impressive specifications:

  • Power density ranging from 8 to 25 kilowatts (kW) for air-cooled racks
  • Up to 200 kW for liquid-cooled workloads
  • Two petabytes of storage capacity
  • Ability to host dense AI workloads up to 200 kW power per rack

As the only data centre in India with an on-site open cable landing station, it offers enhanced global connectivity and network performance

. The facility has also achieved platinum-rated Green Data Center recognition from the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC), underlining Sify's commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency.

Sify's chairman, Raju Vegesna, highlighted the company's substantial investment in the project:

"With our cumulative investment now crossing ₹10,000 crore from an initial commitment of ₹2,500 crore, we are not only building digital infrastructure but also creating an ecosystem of opportunity. We envision generating employment for 10,000 people -- direct and indirect -- as this facility ramps up."
