Ultrahuman's new flagship smart ring has a 15-day battery
Ultrahuman is expanding its health monitoring ecosystem with the launch of a new flagship smart ring and a "biointelligence AI" platform upgrade. The Ring Pro is Ultrahuman's third-generation smart ring, and promises up to 15 days of battery life before needing to recharge, alongside 250 days of on-device health history storage. Those are some significant improvements compared to its predecessor, the 2023 Ring Air, which provides 4-6 days of battery life and several days of offline data storage, according to user estimates. Ultrahuman has also made other upgrades to the Ring Pro, including a redesigned heart-rate sensor that improves signal during sleep and recovery, a faster dual-core processor, and safety improvements that allow the ring to be cut off fingers more easily in an emergency. The Ultrahuman Ring Pro will ship with a new Pro Charging case that provides an additional 45 days of battery life and stores up to one year of ring data. The case features an integrated speaker and proximity tracker that allow users to find the device via the Ultrahuman app, wireless charging, and an LED indicator that displays battery level status. The Ring Pro comes in gold, silver, black, and titanium color options, and is available in sizes 5-14. Preorders are launching today for $479 with global availability -- except in the United States, where Ultrahuman is clashing with patents from rival smart ring provider Oura. Shipments start in March. The rollout of Jade, Ultrahuman's new AI platform upgrade, doesn't exclude the US, and will be available to all global Ultrahuman users. Ultrahuman says that Jade is "the world's first real-time biointelligence AI," capable of pulling health data insights and actioning breathwork and atrial fibrillation (AFIB) detection tasks. Future updates will allow Jade to do "much more," according to Ultrahuman, including proactively flagging health concerns before they occur, controlling smart home functions like adjusting room temperature, and even ordering food. Ultrahuman says the goal is to have Jade serve as an "autonomous health agent working 24x7 to improve your life," but it hasn't specified when these additional features will be available.

Ultrahuman's new Pro ring comes with 15 days battery life
If there's one thing that stops people using their smart rings over the long term, it's the battery life. After all, they're so unobtrusive, it's easy to forget to drop it on the charging plate every few days. It doesn't take long for your pricey gadget to become little more than a very expensive piece of jewelry. It's one of many maladies Ultrahuman is looking to address with the advent of its new Pro, a smart ring boasting up to 15 days of battery life. It even ships with a fancy battery case, which itself includes enough power to last it 45 days, making it easier to keep re-charged on the go. Ultrahuman Ring Pro hasn't just got a far bigger battery, it's been re-engineered from the ground up. The company's Bhuvan Srinivasan explained the older hardware had been pushed to its limit, especially in terms of the data it could process. Consequently, the Pro is equipped with a dual core processor with on-device machine learning to better crunch the numbers your body is throwing out. Its memory has also been increased, holding up to 250 days of data before it needs to sync with your smartphone. As well as improvements to durability, the new ring is also easier to cut apart in the hopefully rare event your finger, or its battery, begins to swell. I'll admit, having seen a prototype Pro Charger in person back in January, that it's the prettiest way to re-juice a smart ring I've ever seen. Whereas Samsung and Oura have both opted for discreet, ring box-style hardware, Ultrahuman made something designed to sit on your nightstand. It's not taking up space just for show, either, since it includes the aforementioned battery, LED charge indicator, speaker and haptics. It's also got the ability to diagnose and address firmware issues to eliminate worries around firmware issues bricking devices. At the same time, Ultrahuman is pulling the covers off Jade, its new "real time biointelligence AI." The company promises Jade will be able to "pull real-time actionable insights, and even start breathwork or trigger Afib detection." Jade is expected to get new features over time, with some examples being ordering good, changing your room temperature or flagging potential health issues. The idea is that Jade will keep a constant eye on your health, pulling in data from the ring, M1 continuous glucose monitor and environmental stats from your Ultrahuman Home. Naturally, we'll be getting in the Pro to test and will give our opinions on how effective all of this is when we've spent a month or two actually using it. But if you'd rather not wait and you're based outside the US, you can pre-order the Ultrahuman Ring Pro right now, for $479, with shipments beginning in March. If you already have an Ultrahuman Ring, you can also get a trade-in deal to help cut the cost of the new model.

'To get something to last for 15 days took us months of engineering effort' -- Ultrahuman CEO breaks silence on the long-rumored Ring Pro, its next Oura rival
* Ahead of MWC 2026, health tech company Ultrahuman unveils its Ring PRO * It's reportedly packing a best-in-class 15 days of battery life per charge, along with a clamshell case doubling as a smart alarm * It's also launching its AI 'biointelligence' called Jade, which Ultrahuman CEO Mohit Kumar believes could even order healthy food via DoorDash in the near future, based on the user's needs Most of the best smart rings last for a little under a week between charges, but that's all about to change. Ultrahuman Ring Pro (styled as PRO) has just been revealed ahead of the MWC 2026 tech show next The Ultrahuman Ring PRO is going to be most notable for offering double the battery life of its competitors, at up to 15 days between charges. In an interview with TechRadar, Ultrahuman CEO Mohit Kumar said, "Rings are incredibly small devices, really small batteries. The batteries are typically like 50 to 20 times smaller compared to a wrist device. So to get something to last for 15 days took us months of engineering effort". The Ring PRO also boasts a redesigned heart rate sensor array, four colors - Bionic Gold, Space Silver, Aster Black, and Raw Titanium - and a smart clamshell-style charging case (image below), which also doubles as a smart alarm clock, as you can leave it on your bedside table. With the case, Kumar says you'll be able to get two months out of the smart ring. Available to pre-order for $479 (around £355 / AU$670), the Ring is available globally - except, at the moment, in the US. This is due to a patent dispute between Ultrahuman and Oura, makers of the Oura Ring 4 - but Kumar is quietly confident that Ultrahuman "will be back in the US very, very quickly, I think within maybe it could be a few weeks". Jade, Ultrahuman's AI 'biointelligence' Ultrahuman is also launching Jade, an AI LLM health advisor service in the Ultrahuman app. Health advisory LLMs are common in the fitness app space, but Ultrahuman seems to be doing things a bit differently. Kumar tells me it's a purpose-built model rather than something based on ChatGPT or Claude, due to potential privacy issues. "It could lead to inaccurate insights as well, because you might not be getting the entire context," said Kumar. "So first thing we wanted to ensure was that the data stays on secure servers. It doesn't go out, and it's completely deeply integrated with our own secure, compliant servers." Jade is apparently more action-oriented than Q&A-based, and Kumar has hinted at its powerful decision-making, which will be in future updates. Kumar said, "In the future, Jade bio diligence would be able to take action on your behalf, even autonomously. It can understand your sleep, your recovery, your movement, your nutrition through your CGM data, and potentially can even place a food order for you, like from DoorDash, in the background. "So it will understand what kind of food you should be eating at what time to make sure that you have enough time to digest the food before you go to sleep. So this autonomous nature of Jade is something that is new in the industry. "We are taking it to the next level by making it anonymous and very, very action-oriented." It certainly sounds powerful - although I'm not sure my wallet would appreciate an LLM ordering DoorDash on my behalf. Stay tuned, as we'll get hands-on with the Ultrahuman Ring PRO in the future.
