The round also saw participation from Athera Venture Partners, Jafco Asia, existing investor Unicorn India Ventures, and angel investors including Capillary Technologies CEO Aneesh Reddy, Delhivery chief technology officer Kapil Bharati, and Rapido CEO Aravind Sanka. With the fresh capital, Beacon.li plans to expand its AI capabilities, scale its global footprint, and further enhance enterprise automation. Founded in 2023 by Rakesh Vaddadi and Silus Reddy, Beacon.li is focused on simplifying enterprise software adoption through AI-powered automation. Its product assists businesses by integrating into enterprise systems, automating workflows, resolving queries, and generating documentation in real time. "For enterprises to remain customer-centric, AI-driven automation is no longer optional, it's essential. Customisation, complexity, and outdated documentation slows adoption, but AI is transforming this by creating seamless, intuitive user experiences that drive business efficiency," said Vaddadi. The company serves clients in India and the US, including Darwinbox, Zluri, KekHR, and Planful. Vaddadi noted that Beacon.li's customers have seen up to an 80% reduction in support volume and a fourfold increase in user adoption. Sorin Investments closed its maiden Rs 1,350 crore fund in May 2024, as reported by ET. The firm had made its first close at Rs 800 crore in 2022, followed by a second close at Rs 1,000 crore in 2023. Beacon.li is not only addressing a fundamental pain point but also setting a new standard for AI-powered assistance," said Subeer Monga, partner, Sorin Investments. This funding comes amid growing investor interest in Indian SaaS startups leveraging technologies like AI. On January 30, ET reported that SuperOps, a software provider for IT management services, raised $25 million in its Series C round, led by existing investor March Capital, with participation from Lee Fixel's Addition and Z47 (formerly Matrix Partners India). Similarly, in September 2024, SaaS company Whatfix secured a $125 million funding, in a round led by private equity firm Warburg Pincus.
