Lumen to Connect Prometheus Data Centers Across US to Support AI Growth
Focus on scalability, security, and sustainability in AI data infrastructure. Lumen Technologies announced on Tuesday that it will provide advanced network services to US sustainable data centre specialist Prometheus Hyperscale (formerly Wyoming Hyperscale) to meet growing AI data demands. The deal will enable Prometheus to access Lumen's Private Connectivity Fabric platform, which includes the latest wavelength services and Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) with Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) protection, to enhance capacity across multiple facilities. Lumen's networking technology will provide the infrastructure required to meet the demands of AI workloads, from training to inference, across Prometheus' flagship facility in Wyoming and four future data centers in the western US.
