Lowest Price Ever: Grab This Prime Day Deal on the 4-Star Samsung Galaxy Watch 7
I'm PCMag's senior analyst covering smart home and wearable devices. I've been writing about tech professionally for nearly a decade and have been obsessing about it for much longer than that. Prior to joining PCMag, I made educational videos for an electronics store called Abt Electronics in Illinois, and before that I spent eight years covering the smart home market for CNET. I'm Andrew Gebhart, and I test and rate smartwatches and fitness trackers for a living. I've been reviewing smart tech in one form or another for roughly a decade, and in that time, smartwatches have gone from a niche category to a staple of convenience and health tracking. They've generally become so good at monitoring activity, sleep, and stress that they've blurred the line between the smartwatch and fitness tracker categories. With a smartwatch, you generally want one that matches your phone platform of choice. Apple Watches only work with iPhones, for instance. You have a little more flexibility on the Android side. Google Pixel Watches work with any Android phone, but still save some of their best features for Pixel phones specifically. After that, look for one with the health tracking and lifestyle features that appeal to you. The good news for this Prime Day is that the most feature-rich smartwatch I've tested, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7, is on sale at its lowest price ever. This discount is huge, and one of the best sales I've seen. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 has plenty of lifestyle features thanks to its access to Google's app store. It can automatically or manually track loads of different workouts and track heart rate, pace, and VO2 Max, as well as advanced outdoor running metrics like asymmetry and vertical oscillation. At night, it can track your sleep and even your snoring if you have a nearby Samsung phone. It can even monitor your body composition like a smart scale. On top of that, it's durable, attractive, and smart. Galaxy AI features introduced this generation allow it to offer holistic health insights that take all of the rest of the data it tracks into account for a concrete score and tangible advice. Its combination of features is unmatched, and you can grab the 40mm variant on Prime Day for $159.99, which is a considerable 47% off its normal $299.99 price and its lowest price ever. If you check out our list of favorite smartwatches, you'll notice I gave the $199.99 Galaxy Watch FE a better score, but that's because I don't mind the compromises in exchange for the lower price. Thanks to the Prime Day sale, you can get a lower price on the Galaxy Watch 7 without the compromises. You can also go bigger. The more rugged Galaxy Watch Ultra is down to $324.99, which is 50% off of its regular price of $649.99. The Galaxy Watch Ultra has a longer battery life, a more durable build for adventure sports, and extra features for hard core athletes like a tile tailored for triathlons. Ultimately, Samsung is putting its flagships on sale now due to the inevitable release of the next generation models at or shortly after the company's Unpacked event this week. Nevertheless, the software upgrades from the new models will be largely compatible with these versions, and I expect them to remain top-of-the-line options on the Android side, even after Unpacked. Getting them for half off is a steal. Don't miss out on the top deals on the tech you want most. Be sure to keep an eye on our editor-curated, continually updated mega-list of the Best Prime Day 2025 Deals.

I've never seen the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra as cheap as it is this Amazon Prime Day
The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra is a very hot property indeed, and not just among Samsung phone users; it's a super-premium fitness watch, rugged and durable, with stacks of features like full-color maps, sleep coaching, Galaxy AI and plenty more. This is the best deal we've seen on this model, and likely the best it'll get throughout the entire Prime Day sales period, so you better move fast. This is very likely to sell out. There are also some discounts on the white and black models, but the grey has the best savings by far. As you can see, the Galaxy Watch Ultra is Samsung's answer to the Apple Watch Ultra 2, and is a pretty formidable package even at full price. In our Galaxy Watch Ultra review, we loved the new programmable Quick button, an extensive array of Galaxy AI-powered features, and the rugged design. It is on the chunkier side and the display isn't any bigger than a regular Galaxy Watch, but for Android (particularly Samsung users) who want a watch that can handle the great outdoors, this is the perfect companion. You'll get a 480 x 480 AMOLED display, dual-frequency GPS, water resistance (IP68), and extensive battery life. It can interface with other Samsung devices such as the Galaxy Ring, and even be used as a remote for Samsung TVs.

Samsung's Galaxy Watch 7 Is Nearly Half Off for Prime Day
Khamosh Pathak is freelancer tech journalist with over 13 years of experience writing online. Prime Day 2025 is here from Tuesday, July 8 to Friday, July 11, and Lifehacker is sharing the best sales based on product reviews, comparisons, and price-tracking tools. Galaxy Watch 8 is right around the corner, and to celebrate, Samsung is offering a massive discount on last year's Galaxy Watch 7 model. For Prime Day, the watch is down by almost 50%, the lowest price I've seen yet. If you're a Samsung fan, or an Android user looking to add an excellent smartwatch to your setup, it's a good time to pick up the Galaxy Watch 7. Samsung's watch is currently discounted to $159.99 for the 40mm model (the previous lowest price was $199). It's available in Cream and Green. The larger 44mm model is discounted to $199.99, though the real savings are found in the 40mm variant. The Galaxy Watch 7 works well with both the Android and Samsung ecosystems. It's based on the WearOS 5 platform, but also supports Samsung's One UI Watch 6 interface. The watch is running a 3nm Exynos W1000 processor, which is faster than the previous model. There's also a round screen (1.3 inches on the 40mm, and 1.5 inches on the 44mm), and the Watch 7 boasts a brighter 2,000-nit Super AMOLED display. The battery lasts 30 hours, and there's also support for Qi wireless charging up to 10W. There's 32GB onboard storage, and dual-frequency GPS for precise workout tracking. The BioActive sensor has been upgraded with more LEDs (13 as opposed to four in the Watch 6) for improved accuracy in tracking heart rate, sleep quality, blood pressure, blood oxygen levels, and stress -- especially during high-intensity workouts. The Galaxy Watch 7 also comes with Galaxy AI, which powers an "energy score," wellness tips, suggested replies for notifications, and Sleep Apnea Detection. Looking for something else? Retailers like Walmart, Best Buy, and Home Depot have Prime Day competition sales that are especially useful if you don't have Amazon Prime.
