Uniqus Consultech has secured $20 million in Series C funding from Nexus Venture Partners and Sorin Investments, doubling its valuation to $250 million just a year after its $100 million Series B round. The company completed a Series B round in March 2024 at a valuation of $100 million. The firm will use the funds to fuel its ambitious growth plans. It aims to scale up rapidly, roll out complementary services, and expand into new markets around the world. A significant portion of the investment will also go into research and development, with a strong focus on AI-powered tools designed to tackle the complex reporting and risk management needs of its clients. "The big push now is using AI to break into more traditional service areas," said Jamil Khatri, Co-founder & CEO of Uniqus Consulting. "We're also eyeing new markets -- Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, ASEAN, and Canada -- as part of our global expansion. And in the near term, we plan to enter valuation and diligence services as well." Since its launch two years ago, Uniqus has grown at a brisk pace -- setting up offices in 11 cities across India, the US, and the Middle East. Backed by a team of over 550 professionals and 60 partners and directors, the firm now serves more than 250 clients across markets.
