What little data Arc Search collects (including profile data from browser accounts, device data for support and debug use and usage data that excludes browsing, download, or content history) is also guaranteed not to be sold to third parties. Arc Search for Android leaves beta, adds Voice Search, widgets, and more

After a brief beta period, Arc Search for Android is now officially available to all via the Google Play Store, with a number of new features. Designed with a native ad blocker built-in and with AI at its core, Arc Search is a mobile browser replacement that aims to simplify the web browsing experience on Android. Many have been able to test drive the app during the recent open beta phase, but the stable launch includes some brand new additions that might make this a good alternative for many people. Voice Search is being added with the ability to use phrases and long-winded questions rather than type out specific queries. The team behind Arc Search states that there are even unique animations when using the feature on Android that are not found elsewhere. The stable release also includes a number of home screen widgets and icons, with some Android-only icons available to apply if you want some enhanced customization. Arc Search should also now work with any device running Android 12 or higher as full support has been added. Originally it was limited to devices running Android 13 or higher. This limit removal is great, but for older devices it means you're still out of luck. There is also a dedicated landscape mode, Browse for Me should work on your on-device language too, while the Incognito mode is more obvious when active. Another welcome change made during the beta phase was default 120Hz refresh rate support for devices with high-refresh rate screens.
