This extension to their Series B round was led by Aliya Capital Partners and Protego Ventures, bringing the company's total outside funding to an impressive $95 million

Founded in 2018, XTEND has developed a software platform called XOS, designed to operate drones for military applications. The platform works in conjunction with virtual reality headsets, allowing operators to control multiple drones simultaneously and view real-time footage from their cameras

XOS incorporates artificial intelligence to enhance drone footage by highlighting objects of interest and collecting coordinates. The platform is compatible with both third-party drones and XTEND's proprietary systems, including their advanced Honey Badger drone, capable of covering over four miles per flight at speeds up to 44 miles per hour

Expansion and Manufacturing

The newly secured funding will be utilized to expand XTEND's drone manufacturing capacity. On July 1, 2025, the company inaugurated a new U.S. headquarters and drone manufacturing facility in Tampa, Florida. This facility will produce unmanned aerial systems for the U.S. Defense Department and is slated for future upgrades to manufacture upstream drone components
