Murali Swaminathan joins Freshworks following his tenures as an engineering executive at ServiceNow and CA Technologies Freshworks Inc. (NASDAQ: FRSH) today announced that Murali Swaminathan will join the company as its Chief Technology Officer. As CTO, Murali will be responsible for Freshworks' technology roadmap and strategy, leading the company's global engineering and architecture teams. Murali joins the executive management team and will report to Chief Executive Officer and President Dennis Woodside. With over 30 years of experience in software engineering and management, Murali brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable, and secure products. Murali joins Freshworks from ServiceNow, where he served as Vice President of Engineering, overseeing the company's market leading IT Service Management and Strategic Portfolio Management portfolio of products that scale to work for large enterprises. Before that he held several key positions at CA Technologies (now part of Broadcom Inc.), where he played a critical role in advancing the company's enterprise software solutions. He holds a master's degree in Software Engineering Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a bachelor's degree in electronics and instrumentation from Annamalai University in India. Cloud-based customer and employee experience solutions provider, Freshworks has appointed Murli Swaminathan, ex engineering executive at ServiceNow and CA Technologies as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) today. Swaminathan in his new role will be responsible for overseeing its global engineering and architecture teams while leading the tech roadmap and strategy. He brings 30 years of industry experience and software engineering knowledge to his new role at Freshworks, having previously worked as Vice President of Engineering at ServiceNow.
