iOS 27 could add more keyboard changes and turn Siri into a multitasking savant

iOS 27 is months from release but a new report tips autocorrect improvements and a boost to Siri's multitasking skills. Apple is planning on bringing more changes to the iPhone keyboard in iOS 27, which would improve the autocorrect feature, according to a new report. While Apple recently released iOS 26.4. which it claimed improved typing accuracy for rapid typers, but bigger changes are planned for iOS 27 this summer, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. In his most recent update, Gurman says autocorrect will soon offer alternate words in place of the typed word rather than just correcting the spelling. It's not clear whether Apple will include this in the iOS 27 update, due to be unveiled in June at the WWDC 2026 keynote. However, that appears to be the current plan. Siri currently requires users to make requests individually, making it a laggard in the AI space."
