Lenovo launches a slew of CoPilot AI PCs

Today, Lenovo announced the newest additions to its Lenovo Yoga and Lenovo IdeaPad portfolios at Lenovo Innovation World 2024. Here is a glance at the consumer products launched. Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition Created in collaboration with Intel, this 15.9-inch laptop features Smart Modes that adjust performance and system settings, based on your usage. There's an Attention Mode that blocks distracting websites so they can focus on the task at hand. Wellness Features built-in include eye wellness and posture warning features that remind users to take breaks. There is also a special Shield Mode that safeguards user privacy with privacy alerts, privacy guard, and auto prompt VPN to help ensure safety and security when working with sensitive information. There's also a Smart Share feature that enables seamless image sharing between smartphones and laptops with a single tap. The Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 sports a 14.9-inch PRO OLED display and is powered by the AMD Ryzen AI 9 365 processor. It features the 'X Power Software Accelerate' which speeds up software previews, rendering, and exports. It also allows creators to see their work in real-time. Both models include FHD IR cameras with privacy shutters, USB Type-C, USB Type-A, HDMI, a microSD card reader, an audio jack, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.3. Lenovo has announced the Lenovo Creator Zone, a new application designed to enhance creativity by generating and editing images. This tool, first introduced at CES 2024, utilizes a specialized version of Stable Diffusion 3.0 from Stability AI to transform user inputs into images quickly and efficiently. Lenovo Creator Zone will be available as an optional download for Lenovo Yoga devices with discrete GPUs, starting with the Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i in October. Support for additional Lenovo Yoga devices will follow. Lenovo Vantage and Lenovo Smart Performance will further enhance Lenovo Yoga and IdeaPad laptops by offering device optimization, performance monitoring, and improved security. Lenovo launches business and enterprise line-up

There's 'Shield' for privacy alert and privacy guard to help protect against unwanted snooping, and automatic launch of preferred VPN (virtual private network) application upon connecting to any public Wi-Fi network. 'Attention' helps reduce distractions and prioritise focus on the task at hand by allowing users to set attention timers and silence notifications. Collaboration enhances virtual meeting experiences by optimising video performance and pre-set preferred settings such as background blur or low light enhancer. 'Wellness' can help improve digital health with posture alerts and reduce eye fatigue by reminding users to take breaks. Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 13 Aura Edition will be available starting November 2024, with limited availability in the UK, Germany, France, Nordics, and Switzerland, at an expected starting price of €2,699. ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 and the all-new ThinkBook 16 Gen 7+ are powered by the latest AMD Ryzen™ AI processors. The former weighs just 1.3 kg and offers a 14-inch display. The latter features a sleek metal design, a large ForcePad, and an expansive 16-inch 3.2K display for a visually appealing and highly functional device. Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 AMD is priced at €2,199 onwards, whereas the Lenovo ThinkBook 16 Gen 7+ is priced at €999 onwards. Lenovo also introduced the ThinkBook 16 Gen 7 powered by the Snapdragon X Plus 8-core processor. Its 16-inch display is enhanced by Lenovo Pro Sound with super-linear speakers and Dolby Atmos audio.
