The camera layout is similar to Galaxy S24 Ultra, with a 200MP primary camera, a 10MP 3x telephoto lens, and a 50 MP 5x periscope zoom lens. One of the major upgrades to the camera is the ultra-wide angle lens moving up to 50MP, which is a significant leap from the 12MP in the previous model. Users would be able to take brighter images with an ultrawide lens as it will capture 12.5MP images using 4-in-1 pixel binning technology. The lens offers a 23.2mm focal length, a wide f/1.7 aperture, and electronic image stabilization (EIS). The resolution is 4080 x 3060, and the ISO range spans from 12 to 3200, which would allow for more detailed images and a well-balanced frame. When it comes to the performance of the new S25 Ultra, Samsung had already confirmed that the Snapdragon 8 Elite would be featured in the S25 lineup, and even though there was no clarity on the models that would be powered by it, speculations did suggest that the Ultra model would be most likely be powered by the same SoC. This might leave users dismayed, given how they have to pay a more premium price and expect more premium offerings in return. Samsung's Galaxy AI launched first on the S24 series last year, and we got to test it out on the Galaxy S24 Ultra, but things have changed a bit this year. The new Galaxy AI focuses heavily on on-device AI features baked into the operating system. Because the new Galaxy AI features are on-device, you've got increased security for your personalized AI that can support you and offer suggestions and integrations across multiple apps with your personalized, multi-modal AI Agent. All three Galaxy S25 series phones feature the new 3-nanometer Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite CPUS. Samsung claims these new chips offer a performance boost of 37% in CPU performance, 30% in GPU performance, and 40% in NPU performance over the S24 series. One of the most important parts of a smartphone can be the camera array. And for Samsung's flagship Galaxy phones, that's never been more true than the last few years as Samsung has added more and more cameras to the rear camera array. Although the phones don't have dramatically upgraded specs, the company stuffed -- you guessed it! -- more AI into the devices. This latest batch is more context-sensitive and predictive, and some of it even squeezes more out of the phones' mildly upgraded hardware. The Galaxy S25 Ultra is still the biggest, best and most expensive of the bunch. It has a 6.9-inch display and a more rounded edge for a "comfortable grip." Samsung says it's the "slimmest, lightest, and most durable Galaxy Ultra device ever," rocking a titanium body with Corning's Gorilla Armor 2 for "advanced drop protection" and scratch resistance. Unlike the two smaller models, the Ultra's camera sensors got a spec upgrade: Its ultrawide lens is now 50MP, up from the mere 12MP one in last year's model. Like its siblings, the S25 Ultra is powered by a customized version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, which lets the trio of phones process many of their AI experiences on-device. Of course, that's better for privacy. The Galaxy S25 Ultra has 12GB of RAM, and it ships in 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage tiers. It's still quite the investment, though -- starting at $1,300. The Galaxy S25 and S25+ saw their RAM upgraded to 12GB (same as the Ultra), up from 8GB in their 2024 predecessors. It combines with the Snapdragon 8 Elite to better handle the phones' many AI features. (More in a minute.) The rest of their hardware is remarkably similar to the S24 and S24+. They still have 6.2-inch and 6.7-inch displays, respectively. But Samsung's new ProScaler AI tool can upscale images in real time to perhaps make up for the unchanged specs. Samsung says it can boost the quality of what you see by 40 percent. Storage is also unchanged from the S24 series: 128GB or 256GB in the Galaxy S25 and 256GB or 512GB in the Galaxy S25+. Fortunately, pricing is also unchanged. You'll pay $800 or more for the S25 and $1,000 and up for the S25+. With most hardware upgrades (apart from the Snapdragon chip) coming in soft this generation, Samsung is leaning hard on AI features to make you want to throw down hard-earned cash on the new models. This year, it's more personalized and context-sensitive, aiming to become more of a context-aware assistant than just a series of one-off tools. Samsung Unpacked is once again upon us, and, like clockwork, Samsung used the occasion to unveil their latest flagship Android phones. This time around, the company is releasing the aptly named Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra, perhaps some unsurprising upgrades from the Galaxy S24 series. That said, there are a number of new features and changes with these devices that are worth exploring. As you might expect, Samsung is launching the Galaxy S25 series with new Galaxy AI features. First up, there's Now Brief, which gives you AI-powered summaries of your sleep results, the weather, and your events for the day. The feature learns your patterns, and shows you relevant information over time. Your "Now Brief" can be accessed on the lock screen or via the Home screen widget. Next, there's Cross App Action. This feature lets you create tasks you want to be completed and the AI will combine these tasks and finish them for you. You can access Cross App Action by long-pressing the power button to open Google Gemini. Auto Suggestions is another AI-powered feature that gives you suggestions based on your previously used routines. For example, Auto Suggestions could suggest you start your robot vacuum when you're not home, or open your favorite navigation app when heading out for a trip. Multimodal Search, on the other hand, lets you search for items through various, sometimes non-traditional means. You could hum a song when you don't remember the name of it, then the AI can try to piece it together and search for the track. Samsung hasn't made major changes to the look of its Galaxy S25 devices, but the S25 Ultra has rounded edges for a more comfortable grip, and Samsung says that it is the slimmest, lightest, and most durable Ultra device to date. It continues to have a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the Galaxy S25+ offers a 6.7-inch display and the Galaxy S25 offers a 6.2-inch display. The smartphone has a titanium shell and Corning's Gorilla Armor 2 for the front display, which Samsung says is more durable than glass. Gorilla Armor 2 is like Apple's Ceramic Shield, and it is made from a glass-ceramic material that is meant to improve drop protection and cut down on scratches. All three of the new smartphones are equipped with a customized Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip that is built on a 3-nanometer process. There is a 37 percent improvement in CPU performance, a 30 percent improvement in GPU performance, and a 40 percent improvement in neural processing and image processing compared to the S24 lineup. An "AI Partner" is the new black, but there's a lot more to take note of... Samsung's new series consists of the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra, as expected. Fortunately, the prices haven't gone up; inflation is apparently a bad word at Samsung, so that means we start at exactly the same level as last year's models. The S25 Series comes with a lot of "multimodal AI agents" that will change the interaction with the phone according to Samsung. On a more down-to-earth note, it has switched to Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile and uses a new version of ProVisual Engine for photos and video. The launch also comes with the new OneUI 7, which Samsung says can understand context while ensuring privacy, part of a larger goal to create an AI-integrated operating system. There has also been a lot of work on creating real Cross-App Action through Gemini, so it will be interesting to see how it really works with more than just standard apps. In addition, the writing assistant should also be significantly updated. There is also a lot of focus on security, especially securing personal data held on the phone, as some functions are processed directly on the phone. There's even protection against "threats that may increase with the development of quantum computing". Samsung must have a lot more knowledge about the spread of these threats than many others, but it's nice that they're already thinking about it. More important is probably the hardware inside. In addition to a major boost in raw computing power of 30% in the GPU and 37% in the CPU, better graphics and better Ray-Tracing are also promised. It even uses a frame generation system for image processing, almost similar to that of Nvidia graphics cards. The camera has been overhauled and UltraWide is now 50 MP instead of 12 MP. There's 10-bit HDR recording as standard and there's AI-assisted background noise removal on video recordings, whether it's wind, music, or other people. There are also improvements for depth of field and professional solutions for colour editors. The design is more rounded, it's thinner and lighter with titanium and Gorilla Armor2, and it comes with not three or five, but seven years of operating system and security updates. Samsung's most cutting-edge flagship, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, has finally been unveiled alongside its non-Ultra siblings, the Galaxy S25 and the Galaxy S25+. Powering the Galaxy S25 Ultra is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, a variant of the Snapdragon 8 Elite custom-made for the Galaxy S25 series. This is not a new thing -- we've seen Samsung and Qualcomm partner on Samsung-exclusive variants of Snapdragon chips, and they're usually higher-binned, so these are, at least on paper, the best you can get on an Android phone. The phone comes with a choice of either 256GB or 512GB of storage, as well as up to 12GB of RAM. Battery needs are served by a 5,000 mAh battery, as usual, which supports 45W charging for quick top-ups. The camera is usually the strongest point in the Ultra range, and this one also delivers. The main lens is still 200MP, but we have a 50MP ultra-wide lens for a change, a notable upgrade from the 12MP lens on the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The device now also defaults to 10-bit HDR recording, providing four times richer color expression. Low-light video capture has also been significantly improved this generation. As for the smaller Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Ultra, the devices are closer to the 'Ultra' than ever before. Both models feature the best-in-class internals, keeping up with the flagship Ultra model and a plethora of Galaxy AI upgrades. The Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Plus will compete against the likes of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, and based on initial impressions, Apple has a lot of catching up to do. In terms of design, the Galaxy S25 and S25 Plus are now more boxier than the previous version, offering rounded corners on all sides. Largely, the general design language is the same, but you will notice the differences side by side. Both models feature the same 6.2-inch and 6.7-inch display with a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultrawide, and a 10MP telephoto lens capable of 2x optical zoom. In terms of battery life, the Galaxy S25 comes with a 4,000 mAh battery, while the slightly bigger model comes with a 4,900 mAh battery. The charging speed, on the flip side, remains the same at 25W and 45W, respectively. The base Galaxy S25 variant still starts at 128GB, which brings us to question when the industry would ditch the 128GB option. All Galaxy S25 models will ship with the latest One UI 7 update, which is based on Google's Android 15 update, and Samsung promises 7 years of OS and security updates. The devices have also adopted the Qi2 charging standard, but the company's accessories need to catch up to it to offer the full capability. The company will offer magnets in official cases similar to Apple's, allowing the devices to connect seamlessly and transfer power without any hiccups. Take note that there are no magnets inside the devices themselves, which puts them a step below the iPhone. The main focus of the Galaxy S25 lineup is Galaxy AI and how the company has built the device around the software this time around. The company is also partnering with Google for its additional Gemini 2.0 features, allowing the S25 lineup to keep up with Apple and the entire industry. Their hardware upgrades are subtle, but new software features abound. As expected, Samsung used its first Unpacked shindig of the year to officially unveil the Galaxy S25 series. Although the Galaxy S25 and S25+ bring welcome hardware upgrades like more RAM (12GB) and a Samsung-centric flavor of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, most updates revolve around new Galaxy AI features -- many of which are on-device and context-aware. Fortunately, you won't have to pay more: The phones cost the same as their S24 predecessors. It's no surprise that Samsung put most of its eggs in the AI basket with this year's flagships. The phones run One UI 7 on top of Android 15 -- a combination the company describes as "a new AI-integrated OS." Samsung is trying to nudge its collection of features in the direction of a more personalized AI that "understands the context of your needs and preferences," acting accordingly. Like the Galaxy S24 series, the new phones' Galaxy AI features will be "free through 2025." That sounds like a pretty big catch: Unless Samsung decides to extend the free period, you'll have to pay for at least some of the phones' marketed AI features starting next year. The long list of AI features includes what the company describes as "a breakthrough in natural language understanding." For example, Samsung says you can ask the phone to find a specific photo in your gallery or adjust your display's font size -- saving you the time-consuming legwork of sifting through old pictures or drilling through settings. One UI 7 includes the Now Bar, which hangs out at the bottom of the lock screen (and below the digital clock when unlocked), behaving similarly to the iPhone's Dynamic Island. The Now Bar's standout AI feature is the context-sensitive Now Brief, which proactively makes suggestions about your day (like forecasts, playlists or flight times for upcoming trips). Fortunately, this all stays on-device in Samsung's Knox Vault, a chipset-level security feature (introduced with the Galaxy S21) that separates sensitive data from the OS. Pressing and holding the side button activates Google's Gemini -- now the default assistant instead of Bixby. It can handle multi-step queries and can work across apps. For example, you can ask it to find your favorite team's schedule and add their games to the Samsung Calendar app with a single command. There's also a new AI-powered call transcript and summarizing feature (something Apple recently launched in iOS 18) and an upgraded version of Google's Circle to Search. Meanwhile, AI Select is an outgrowth of Samsung's legacy Smart Select. The AI version is a multimodal series of tools that can recommend context-sensitive actions -- like creating a GIF from a YouTube video you're watching. The idea is to merge multiple steps (from multiple apps) into one quick action. The phones' camera specs are the same as last year's models: a 50MP wide sensor, a 12MP ultrawide one and a 10MP zoom lens. But 10-bit HDR, which can better capture details in high-contrast scenes, is enabled by default on the new phones. Samsung says the Qualcomm chip makes the phones better at reducing noise in dimly lit videos. Meanwhile, Audio Eraser sounds similar to Google's Audio Magic Eraser in the Pixel 8. The AI feature can isolate sounds in videos (like voices, music, wind, nature, crowd and general background noise) to make it easier to remove or reduce the volume of those you don't want. Anyway, the new phones are officially available for pre-order and will be on the market in just a few short weeks on February 7. The biggest upgrade on these new Galaxy smartphones? That's easy. It's the Qualcomm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip that powers the S25 line. This chipset was designed to handle intense processes required by Samsung's newest and latest AI features. It'll also be a boon for gamers looking for a smooth mobile gaming experience. According to Samsung, the S25 line will receive a 40 percent NPU boost when compared to its predecessor. For example, Samsung debuted Now Brief, a personalized AI-powered lock screen page with notifications, news, and reminders for the day ahead. The Now Bar located at the bottom of the screen provides real-time updates throughout the day. Galaxy AI is able to do this thanks to the personal data engine, which allows Samsung to tailor features for the individual user while still keeping their data private and secure. These capabilities also allow Galaxy AI to automatically provide AI tools based on what the user is doing on screen. For example, by just writing a text, a user's S25 will automatically open AI writing tool options without the user having to do anything. In addition, Samsung highlighted other new AI features such as Galaxy AI's ability to provide transcripts and summaries for phone calls live in real-time on the call screen. Samsung Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ Hands-On

There's no stylus or four cameras, but they've got all the AI fixings, plus a base of 12GB of RAM on both Galaxy S25 models. Samsung really wants you to consider its Galaxy S25 for your next Android phone before considering the do-it-all Ultra variant. The Galaxy S25 and S25+ stand well on their own as two smartphones you'd consider over Apple's or Google's respective offerings. I'm partially influenced by the fact that there is 12GB of RAM across the board for both models, which means there is now a powerful little Samsung phone, which didn't really exist before. You used to have to compromise if you wanted something smaller. It remains to be seen whether the camera on the Galaxy S25 models will truly impress, especially since the sensors have not been significantly upgraded. I'm especially curious because this is the first time in a few generations that it doesn't feel like you're missing out on something going for the non-Ultra Galaxy variants. First things first, the phones. There is the 6.2-inch Galaxy S25 and the 6.7-inch Galaxy S25+. They come in the same colors as the Ultra, and the blue variant featured here in photos is quite dashing in person. Its backside offers an almost ombre effect from light blue to blue, depending on the angle you're holding it at. They feel light, like a thin piece of perfectly buttery crust from a freshly baked croissant. They are fingerprint magnets, so much so that scrubbing them out of all the photos was challenging. There is a difference between the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ displays. The Dynamic AMOLED display on the Galaxy S25 is only Full HD, while the Galaxy S25+ is QuadHD. But both have a 120HZ adaptive refresh rate. The Galaxy S25 is saddled with a smaller 4,000 mAh battery, and the Galaxy S25+ is almost as big as the Ultra's at 4,900 mAh. This year's phones are on the same Wi-Fi 7 track, so feel free to upgrade those routers! Both are powered by the 3nm-sized Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, which is explicitly made for this line of phones. Rather than skimp on RAM, Samsung lets our smaller phone users have as much power in their hands as the rest of us, so even the Galaxy S25 comes with 12GB of RAM, like the Galaxy S25+â€"logistically, it had to do this if it was going to sell you on using all the new AI features that are part of the package. Like the Galaxy S25 UItra, the Galaxy S25/S25+ cameras haven't been significantly updated. The ultra-wide camera has only a 12-MP sensor, unlike the Ultra's 50-MP upgrade. The Galaxy S25 and S25+ have the same AI features as their Galaxy S25 Ultra counterpart. This includes Galaxy AI and the "cross-app action" that lets you, for example, grab a set of dates from a screen and put them into your calendar app of choice. The Galaxy S25/S25+ also has access to Google's new Circle to Search features and the conversational search experience in places like the Settings app. One AI-driven feature I got to try out on the Galaxy S25+, in particular, was the Morning Brief. This is a feature that makes use of all those AI agents that pull in from your usage. I wasn't expecting to see much for this demonstration because the phones laid out were all brand new and void of much data, so they didn't have much to work with. But I picked a Galaxy S25+, went into the Morning Brief curious what it would say, and it immediately served me a news story about Melania Trump. I asked a Samsung representative if there was a way to "mute" specific suggestions from the news feed or adjust the types of content it serves me. I can't imagine wanting to see that first thing in the morning when I'm just trying to figure out the weather and where I'll be needed for the day. It took quite a bit of scrolling and tapping to get to the menu that lets you customize what is pushed through from Samsung News and other sources. I didn't get my answer about whether or not I could scrub out political content exclusively from the Morning Brief, only that it's a possibility. This is all to say that this is a feature I will be paying close attention to and whether it's customizable to my liking. Samsung thinks it can guess what I want based on my everyday phone use. I would have liked to see an easier way to long-press the content and select "don't show me these kinds of headlines," the way that Google's Discover feed lets you do. Like its Galaxy S25 Ultra compatriot, the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ are available for pre-order today. For hardware changes, the Galaxy S25 Ultra now features a 50-megapixel ultrawide sensor, up from last year's 12MP. 10-bit HDR is now also applied by default, delivering four times richer color expression which should be well noticed on the S25 Ultra's 6.8-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display with 120Hz refresh rate. Other upgrades include Qi2 wireless charging support, though, Samsung implemented it in a somewhat roundabout way. The company has partnered with 3rd-party case makers to enable usability, so that means you'll need to buy an accessory to utilize the power of Qi2. While not ideal, Samsung can at least claim that it's there. Inside each model of the Galaxy S25 is the Qualcomm-made Snapdragon 8 Elite (for Galaxy) chipset with a base of 12GB RAM. Usability in third-party apps, such as Spotify, is also getting baked in. Your lock screen is also getting outfitted with Now Bar, with features like Now Brief being accessible from the screen. Now Brief shows current weather, top news stories, and usage insights that are catered by Galaxy AI. If you're following a sports team, scores can be viewed via Now Bar, too. All models of the Galaxy S25 are getting depth-of-field control with Virtual Aperture, integrated into Expert RAW. Additionally, you'll find the new Galaxy Log inside of Pro mode, which enables precise color grading options for more "professional" video production. Whenever a new flagship phone launches, we're always curious if the company who just announced it has properly sold to it to audiences like ours. We know how many of you love Samsung phones, especially the Ultra line, and that you typically upgrade each year because Samsung makes it worth doing so with high trade-in values. But does the Galaxy S25 launch feel different? I ask because I wonder if Samsung did enough this year. The Galaxy S25 Ultra is without a doubt a flagship phone with great specs, new ultra-wide camera, a slightly refreshed design that got rid of its sharp corners, and a level of support that could last someone for years to come. For the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+, Samsung didn't really do much other than splash some new paint on last year's designs and use Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. For the most part, Samsung wants you to believe that hardware upgrades weren't as important as the software they have spent years fine-tuning for this moment. Of course, I'm talking about AI and the never-ending pitch from so many companies that AI will change your life, for real this time. While it hasn't up to this point, it may one day. I don't know if the Galaxy S25 series marks the start of that or not (I'd lean towards it not), but that's the idea here. The Galaxy S25 is not so much about the hardware as much as it is about AI. If you were trying to decide to upgrade, I would tell you this. The upgrade deals are quite good and Samsung is offering $900 in trades, which is over the $750 they offered last year towards the Galaxy S24 Ultra. These launch deals are better than last year's, for sure. And if you do, you get specs that are good enough that you don't need to care about the AI stuff. Should you upgrade your phone to the Samsung S25 Ultra?

The new 50MP wide-angle lens and better video editing tools may just be worth the extra £450. Last night, Samsung announced its latest Galaxy S25 smartphone series at its annual Unpacked event, and I was reporting live from the company's London HQ to bring you all of the exciting updates. I spent some time after the event getting hands-on with the latest S25 Ultra flagship, and experiencing some very cool demos from Samsung's experts - but while I had an amazing time at the event, I was still left wondering if the S25 Ultra is a worthwhile upgrade from my Samsung S24 Ultra. Samsung set the bar super high at last year's unpacked event, with industry-leading AI developments and big flagship upgrades to rival even the best iPhones for photography. It can't have been easy to try and top this already excellent technology, but I was hoping for a few more standout features from Samsung to make upgrading an obvious choice. I've already priced up the trade-in cost of my S24 Ultra including Samsung Student Discount, and it's a very tempting deal. If you're also on the fence about pre-ordering the S25 series, then let's go through my initial thoughts and first impressions of the S25 series, and whether or not you should upgrade. If you're someone who shoots a lot of video content, then the S25 series' new AI Audio Eraser feature could be a tempting tool. During Unpacked, we were all bombarded with maybe too much information about upcoming AI tools and features for content creators, and as a serious Samsung fan, even I was bored. But it wasn't until trying out some of these reported features that I realised their true power and potential. Take the Audio Erasure tool for example - Samsung staff had me enter a soundproof booth at the event where a mixture of loud music and audio was being played. They then asked me to record a video with the S25 while speaking over the top, and then showed me how Audio Erasure works to completely isolate my voice in the video clip with no other background sound. Other features aiming to enhance video quality and editing with the S25 Ultra include the new Galaxy Log video function for creating flat profile portrait videos, as well as the ExpertRAW Virtual Aperture mode for enhancing background blur and tweaking depth of field in your videos. As a photographer, the number one smartphone feature for me will always be the camera quality. I recently put together a camera phone shootout testing my S24 Ultra against the new Honor Magic 7 Pro, and the quality difference was splitting hairs. Smartphone photography is levelling up fast, and to be honest, I was expecting a little more from Samsung this year in regard to camera upgrades. With the S25 Ultra, we're getting a 50MP ultra-wide camera, which is an impressive boost against the previous 12MP quality that I'm used to with my S24 Ultra. But what else is new? There are some fun AI film camera filters available to use, and better object-aware detection tools for enhancing your subject, plus nightography improvements too. I got to try out both the new Ultra-wide 50MP camera on the S25 Ultra, as well as its new portrait enhancements with the front camera - which can capture a much sharper shot than I'm used to with my S24 Ultra. But despite this, there remain to be very incremental upgrades in terms of specs between the S24 Ultra and S25 Ultra camera module for me to personally justify an upgrade. It was great to get a brief hands-on experience with the latest S25 series at Samsung last night, but I think to form a proper verdict and truly consider an upgrade to the S25 Ultra, I'd need at least a week of testing it to know how I feel and assess the general performance. In terms of design, these new handsets look stunning, feel very nice and premium to hold, and are more lightweight than their predecessors, so I have no complaints in this area. As for the pricing, I like that the S25 series is priced exactly the same as Samsung's S24 series was at launch, and I've calculated that with a trade-in discount combined with Samsung's student discount, plus a coupon code, I'll only be paying roughly £450 to upgrade to the S25 Ultra. This is a very good price but still has me thinking if the minimal camera upgrades and enhancements I saw during Unpacked are enough to justify the cost. The big question: Should you upgrade? In my opinion, I think if you're a Samsung S24 Ultra owner like me, it might be a good idea to sit this year out if you're cautious of costs. Not everyone can afford to upgrade their flagship every year, but if money is no object then the benefits outweigh this greatly. In terms of camera specs, the S25 has the same 50MP wide camera with a dual aperture, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, plus a 10MP telephoto lens. The S25 Plus also has the exact same camera module and AI features as its younger sibling but misses out on the 50MP Ultra-wide camera that the S25 Ultra is boasting, compared with the 12MP that the S24 Ultra currently has. There's not much more I can say to sell you on the S25 Plus, though it might be a better choice for creatives thanks to its large display for content editing, and smartphone gamers will also appreciate its extended battery life. If you're looking for the ultimate Samsung smartphone then the Galaxy S25 Ultra is the one to beat. This flagship smartphone has the best camera unit of the bunch, the largest display at 6.9-inches, and the S25 Ultra is also the only model in the lineup to include the S Pen stylus which opens up a host of benefits for creatives from note-taking and photo editing to sketching with AI. In terms of price, the S25 Ultra is of course more expensive than its siblings, retailing for $1,299.99 / £1,249 for the minimum 256GB option. Samsung has a preorder offer right now gifting extra storage, so you can currently get the 512GB model at the starting price, and the 1TB model will only cost you £1,349 instead of £1,549 for a limited time. I personally think that the S25 Ultra sells itself as the star of the lineup, especially for those who use their smartphone for social media content creation. But it comes at a cost, so it's definitely worth considering the other S25 and S25+ models if money is tight but you don't want to miss out on new upgrades and features.
