Sweat Wallet Introduces AI Agent 'Mia'

Sweat, a move-to-earn platform that rewards users with SWEAT tokens for physical activity, has unveiled plans to launch an AI agent named Mia (Movement in Action) 1. Powered by Near Protocol's Near AI infrastructure, Mia will be integrated into the Sweat Wallet app to provide users with personalized assistance and simplify their experience with the platform 2.

Oleg Fomenko, co-founder of Sweat, explained, "Rather than relying on tutorials or navigating through clunky interfaces, users can simply ask Mia questions in plain language and receive guidance tailored to their activity and preferences" 1. Mia will assist users with understanding SWEAT token earning, exploring new features, and learning how to swap or stake assets across supported chains.

Multi-Chain Expansion

Alongside the AI agent launch, Sweat is expanding its infrastructure to support multiple blockchain networks. The platform will now embrace Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, and BNB Chain, with plans to integrate Solana, Bitcoin, and The Open Network (TON) in the future 1.

This multi-chain approach allows users to bridge assets and swap native tokens across networks, with the option to pay gas fees in SWEAT tokens 2. Fomenko stated, "We've shifted to championing the Movement Economy -- an expansive, multi-chain ecosystem where movement is not only rewarded but also unlocks access to financial tools, health experiences and self-sovereign identity" 2.

User Experience and Adoption

The introduction of Mia and the multi-chain expansion are aimed at improving user onboarding, increasing engagement with multi-chain features, and enhancing user retention. Fomenko emphasized that Mia is designed to "accelerate the path from movement to meaningful participation in Web3" 1.

Sweat currently boasts 20 million users and over 19 million token holders 2. The platform's mission is to onboard the next billion users into Web3, leveraging physical activity as a universal and inclusive entry point.

Privacy and Security Considerations

As AI-driven tools become more integrated with crypto wallets, concerns about data privacy and misuse have emerged. Fomenko addressed these issues, stating that Sweat employs "a combination of GDPR-compliant data handling practices, secure anonymization protocols and frequent external audits" 2.

To mitigate the risk of AI-driven phishing attacks, Fomenko explained that "Mia operates transparently, providing clear, explainable prompts where users remain in control -- they can accept, reject, or override suggestions at any time" 2.
