First, Character.ai is a chatbot, just like ChatGPT, Gemini, or even Claude. It can answer most of your questions and write text and emails. But most importantly, it can start and carry on a conversation with fictional characters who will help you understand certain concepts (in philosophy, for example), make arguments in debates, answer all kinds of questions about current events or video games, and it can also give you its opinion if you ask.
