Experion Technologies Inaugurates AI CoE in Thiruvananthapuram
The new center will house more than 700 engineers and serve as the company's AI Center of Excellence (AI CoE), strengthening its global delivery capabilities and AI-native engineering efforts. Experion Technologies, an AI-native product engineering and digital transformation company, has inaugurated its new 58,000 sq. ft. development center at Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram. The facility was inaugurated by Dr. Tessy Thomas, renowned aerospace engineer and missile scientist, widely known as "The Missile Woman of India" for her leadership roles in the Agni-IV and Agni-V missile programmes. The new center will house more than 700 engineers and serve as the company's AI Center of Excellence (AI CoE), strengthening its global delivery capabilities and AI-native engineering efforts. Along with the inauguration, Experion announced ARC, its AI-native product engineering operating model, and the Experion Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) Academy, designed to build next-generation engineering talent for customer-facing AI roles. The AI Center of Excellence serves as the operational hub for Experion's ARC framework, bringing together multidisciplinary teams across product discovery, engineering, AI model integration, deployment, and continuous optimization. By combining deep engineering expertise with AI-native ways of working, the center enables customers to move from ideas to products faster while accelerating innovation across industries including banking and financial services, automotive, retail, healthcare, and insurance for clients in the US, UK, Australia, Japan, and other global markets. The facility features AI innovation labs, embedded IoT labs, rapid prototyping spaces, collaborative engineering zones, modern learning facilities, and employee wellness amenities designed to foster continuous innovation, collaboration, and upskilling. "As demand for AI-native product engineering continues to grow across global markets, we're scaling our operations, expanding our engineering capabilities, and investing in the infrastructure needed to support that growth. Customers leveraging ARC have already reported project timeline reductions of 15 to 30%, while improving development velocity, engineering productivity, and time-to-market," said Binu Jacob, Co-Founder & CEO, Experion Technologies. "This new AI CoE is a strategic investment in our future. It strengthens our ability to deliver AI-led innovation at scale while creating new opportunities for our engineers to work on some of the most complex product engineering challenges for customers worldwide. Thiruvananthapuram has always been an important part of our growth story, and this facility reinforces our long-term commitment to building world-class engineering talent from Kerala for the global markets." " AI is not replacing engineers; it is redefining engineering and helping businesses scale faster. Our responsibility is to ensure every Experion engineer is equipped with the skills, mindset, and tools needed to thrive in this new era," said Sreekumar Pillai, Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer, Experion Technologies. "The AI Center of Excellence and the FDE Academy bring that vision to life. By immersing our engineering talent in AI-led product engineering and preparing them to become deployment-ready through the FDE Academy, we are building teams that can work closely with customers, accelerate innovation, and translate AI into stronger business outcomes."
