V.S. Hariharan, Managing Director and Group CEO of Redington Limited, emphasized the ecosystem-driven future of technology. "The next chapter of technology will not be shaped by one product, one platform or one company. It will be built by ecosystems," Hariharan stated. "Customers need infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, software, data, skills and specialised partners to come together around the outcomes they want to achieve. Redington's role is to orchestrate these capabilities—reducing complexity, connecting global innovation with local execution and creating a clearer path from possibility to adoption."

ASEAN AI Innovation Centre Inaugurated to Drive AI Adoption and Innovation

Global NEXT 2026 marked the inauguration of Redington's ASEAN AI Innovation Centre in Singapore. This facility provides customers and channel partners with a physical environment to explore AI use cases, navigate solution options, build proofs of concept, and validate integrated solutions before deployment. The Centre represents a practical foundation for connecting global innovation with local execution capabilities.

Marcus Dass, Senior Vice President & Head of Global Enterprises Division at EDB, welcomed the development: "This centre adds to Singapore's growing AI ecosystem, bringing together enterprises, technology partners and specialist expertise to accelerate the responsible adoption and deployment of AI. Singapore's strong digital infrastructure, skilled talent and regional connectivity will enable companies like Redington to deliver impactful AI solutions to businesses across the region."

Building Global AI Launchpads Across Key Markets

The Singapore facility houses Redington's first physical AI Launchpad, one of three planned globally. Additional AI Launchpads are being developed in Bengaluru and Dubai, supporting Redington's software-led focus across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia. These centres complement Redington's existing capabilities, including platforms such as Cloud Quarks, Redington Online, Digiglass, and RACE, along with assets like AI Exchange, Track my Cloud, and Reonix.

2

The AI Launchpad infrastructure aims to help partners connect solution innovation with skills, demand creation, and market access—elements critical to moving technology from demonstration to customer adoption. As organizations invest in AI, cloud, and digital transformation, success increasingly depends on how effectively infrastructure, data, cybersecurity, software, services, and skills work together within ecosystems.

Strengthening Partner Ecosystems for Complex Customer Needs

Across three days, Global NEXT 2026 brought together technology companies, channel partners, customers, and independent software vendors (ISVs) through a programme spanning the AI Summit, keynotes, panels, curated conversations, demonstrations, the Global NEXT Awards, and Centre of Excellence visits. Built around four connected experiences—Connect, Imagine, Celebrate, and Experience—the programme linked strategic discussions with capability showcases and relationship-building opportunities across markets and technology domains.

2

Discussions examined how partners can collaborate earlier, combine complementary strengths, and connect global capabilities with local execution to adapt innovation to customer needs. As technology roles evolve, ISVs need routes to market, channel partners need specialist capabilities, technology companies need local execution, and customers need these elements to work together seamlessly. Global NEXT 2026 placed these interdependencies at the centre of conversation, reinforcing Redington's position as a partner that connects technology access, expertise, and market reach around customer priorities.
