AI+ Campus in Amaravati

A cornerstone of this investment is the establishment of BITS Pilani's first Artificial Intelligence Plus (AI+) Campus in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh. The new campus, with an investment of approximately ₹1,000 crore, will focus on preparing Indian talent for leadership in cutting-edge technologies 2

. The campus will offer programs in AI, data science, robotics, computational linguistics, and cyber-physical systems 1

The AI+ Campus will be developed in two phases:

1. Phase 1 will support 3,000 students, focusing on core academics and student life.
2. Phase 2 will scale capacity to over 7,000, adding advanced research centers, global collaboration zones, and dedicated entrepreneurship hubs 2

Project Vistaar and BITS Pilani Digital

The remaining ₹1,200 crore will be invested in Project Vistaar, aimed at expanding and modernizing existing BITS campuses in Pilani, Hyderabad, and Goa 2

Additionally, BITS Pilani is launching an edtech platform called BITS Pilani Digital. This platform will offer 32 programs, including 11 degree and 21 certificate courses, serving over a thousand learners ranging from high school graduates to working professionals 2
