Sify Launches AI Lab & Experience Centre at Noida Data Centre to Boost AI Innovation
Through Sify's Infinit Aizen platform, the centre will showcase use cases across sectors including banking, insurance, manufacturing, healthcare, retail and logistics. Sify Technologies has inaugurated an AI Lab & Experience Centre at Sify Noida 02, North India's largest AI data centre campus, marking a significant step towards making enterprise AI more accessible and practical. The centre was inaugurated on August 19 in the presence of Shri Alok Kumar, Principal Secretary, Planning, Information Technology & Electronics, Government of Uttar Pradesh, and is designed to bring together AI experimentation, industry use cases, skilling and hands-on engagement with emerging technologies such as Agentic AI. The new centre is positioned as an environment where enterprises, startups, technology professionals and youth can experience AI applications and explore how they can be translated into real-world business outcomes. Through Sify's Infinit Aizen platform, the centre will showcase use cases across sectors including banking, insurance, manufacturing, healthcare, retail and logistics. Aman Mehra, Head - Strategy & Transformation, Sify Technologies Limited, emphasised the significance of this step in building a digital workforce, "The talent potential in Uttar Pradesh is enormous. Through our new initiative, we are setting a precedent to tap into this promising demographic. The aim is to build AI-readiness in the region as well as the local talent". Anuj Kashyap, Head - DC Operations, Sify Technologies Limited, highlighted the infrastructure capabilities underpinning the centre and the AI-ready data centre campus. "AI workloads demand a fundamentally different infrastructure approach, with higher power, cooling, load bearing and scalability requirements. Our Noida campus has been designed with these requirements in mind, with 130 MW of available power capacity that can be scaled up to 180 MW. The objective is to ensure that as AI workloads grow, the underlying infrastructure is ready to scale with them." The launch also reinforces Sify's contribution to Uttar Pradesh's growing technology and deep-tech ecosystem. The state government's support and ease of doing business have enabled Sify to build and expand critical digital infrastructure in the state, including its Noida data centre campuses and an edge data centre in Lucknow. The AI Lab & Experience Centre is therefore positioned not merely as a demonstration facility, but as a platform to help build the skills, experimentation culture and enterprise ecosystem needed to translate AI ambition into practical adoption.
