The announcement comes as JioStar completes its first full year of operations following the merger, with JioStar, Jio Studios and Network18 together forming what Ambani described as India's most powerful media ecosystem. The business posted FY26 revenue of Rs 34,917 crore, EBITDA of Rs 5,842 crore and net profit of Rs 3,434 crore. JioStar remains India's leading television entertainment network with a 34.7 per cent viewership share -- nearly equal to the next three players combined -- with 389 million viewers consuming its content every day across genres and languages.
