L&T's Strategic Expansion

This partnership aligns with L&T's broader strategy to expand its presence in the data center and cloud computing sectors. Hasit Joshipura, adviser to the chairman of L&T Group for data centre and cloud, revealed that L&T has identified semiconductors, marketplaces, and data centers as future growth engines 4

L&T currently builds half of the data centers in India and operates data centers for some state governments. The company has also set up a proof of concept, a 2 MW data center in Panvel, and now runs 30 MW, of which 12 MW is live in Sriperumbudur, near Chennai 4
